The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test is designed to provide US graduate schools with a common measure for comparing their applicants’ qualifications. The exam does not test specific subject knowledge and instead measures quantitative, verbal and analytical writing skills. You will be required to take the GRE if you wish to go on to graduate (post-graduate) study in the US.

Test Registration

The GRE is a computerized test, you can take it throughout the year in test centers internationally. You'll need to register for the exam with the Education Testing Service (ETS) at www.gre.org.
